Life Etiquette Expert Juliet Mitchell, also known as “Ms. J,” is the founder and President/CEO of Eagles Wings, LLC, a consulting and training company that specializes in business and social etiquette, and career development. Licensed by the Emily Post Business Etiquette Institute (EPI), Ms. J brings the same level of professional services that EPI offers, “The social skills, refinement and polish that clients need for successful business and personal relationships, along with the behaviors that project confidence, consistency and trustworthiness.” Ms. J not only brings the EPI training to her clients, she also offers the Social Education and Life Etiquette™ (SELE™) Series which focuses on vital, yet often overlooked “soft skills” essential for career development and growth, and overall life success.

Ms. J has been providing business etiquette and professional development workshops and seminars since 2001, yet she feels that she has been groomed for etiquette training all of her life.
As the youngest member of a large family and an even larger extended family, Ms. J learned early on how to relate to, and engage with people of different age groups and backgrounds. She learned that order is an imperative in large families, otherwise there would be chaos. Often reminded of proper manners and behaviors such as “wash-up before you eat, cover your mouth when you cough, and be respectful of others”, Ms. J realized that these early life lessons provided a solid foundation for a well-ordered, well-lived life.

Ms. J also learned early on that Manners Are Memorable. Because people remember what you say, what you do and how you behave, you want to make the most favorable impression during your first encounter with a person. Those early childhood teachings, coupled with her formal education, training, and experience, led Ms. J to the development of the Social Education & Life Etiquette Series™ (SELE™). Combined with her natural poise and graceful presence, Ms. J brings the SELE™ Series to Colleges and Universities, Community and Nonprofit Organizations, Corporations and Businesses, and Correctional Institutions.

Ms. J holds a Master of Arts Degree in Human Development from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. A believer in life-long learning, Ms. J continues to enhance and improve her own knowledge and skills to bring to her clients the most current, comprehensive and effective etiquette information available.

As residents of St. Paul, Minnesota, Ms. J and her husband Jim are proponents of formal and informal volunteerism. They demonstrate their commitment to giving back to others by donating numerous hours of service to their family, their faith community, and the community at large.

Roxanne Johnson is a consultant and principal facilitator for Eagles Wings, LLC. She avidly supports Eagle Wing’s vision of using Social Education and Life Etiquette (SELE™) principles in developing successful training programs and seminars for diverse audiences. By working closely with Juliet Mitchell, (“Ms. J”) Ms. Johnson has developed a thorough understanding of the overall goals and specific objectives embodied by Eagles Wings, LLC.

Her broad educational background includes the following: Certified Smoking Cessation Specialist, Mayo Clinic and the American Lung Association; Mini MBA in Nonprofit Management, University of St. Thomas; Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, University of Minnesota.

Ms. Johnson’s extensive background as a group facilitator and regional trainer for smoking and tobacco cessation programs covers a span of 30 years. Today, this broad experience provides an important role in her professional association with Eagles Wings, LLC.

Ms. Johnson is a lifelong resident of St. Paul, Minnesota who believes in sharing her time and talent through volunteering with a variety of nonprofits and community-based organizations. This is her way of giving back and contributing to the important work these organizations provide.

A strong supporter of the Eagles Wings, LLC principles, Sherri Hall has been a member of the team since 2009. With over 25 years of customer service experience with a Fortune 500 company, Ms. Hall brings that experience, along with her personal and professional values to Eagles Wings.

Ms. Hall holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration/Marketing and has numerous hours of continuing education and professional development. Not only does Hall have extensive customer service experience, she is also a top-notch trainer and facilitator.

In addition to her education and experience, Ms. Hall brings a natural poise and grace to her work style. Her talents, skills, and abilities compliment the Eagles Wings, LLC team.

A resident of St. Paul, Minnesota, Ms. Hall has a strong commitment to serving others and giving back.

Jim Mitchell :

Jim Mitchell

Jim Mitchell is a key member of the Eagles Wings team.  Having worked with youth and young adults for most of his career, Jim (Mitch) has had success working with the most challenging youth.

In his numerous work and volunteer roles, Jim has gained experience as an effective leader, facilitator and speaker.  Particularly effective with young men, Jim participates in the life etiquette workshops and seminars by showing, telling and actively engaging young men in how to properly present themselves.

A motivated, personable educational professional, Jim has had a successful 25-year track record working with youth and young adults. His experience in working with high-risk youth and young adult populations, including those with special needs (learning and behavioral challenges) has been recognized and lauded not only by his colleagues but also by parents and community members. Jim has a talent for masterfully gaining the trust of young people and engaging them in meaningful, positive, and productive relationships.  He has a unique and uncanny ability to direct and re-direct young people in a way that encourages them to choose positive behaviors thereby minimizing consequences.

A former high school and college athlete, Jim has coached basketball for over 20 years. Dedicated, hardworking, committed—Jim goes the extra mile to make sure a job is done well and the needs of the client, student, or organization are met.

Jim is a graduate of Macalester College, St. Paul, Minnesota.  He resides in St. Paul, Minnesota with his wife, Juliet (Ms. J).  The Mitchells are not only dedicated to their vocations; they are dedicated to the community.  They give back to the community through many acts of volunteer service and support.

Trevon Estes came to Eagles Wings through a youth work experience program where he received business technology and professional skills training. Trevon’s natural acumen compliments the mission, values and principles that Eagles Wings embodies. Since coming to Eagles Wings he has become an essential part of the team. In addition to his role with Eagles Wings Trevon has a strong interest in theater, dance, and music. He gives back to the community by sharing these gifts and talents through volunteer service.

Trevon will remain a part of the Eagles Wings team as he furthers his formal education at St. Paul College where he will concentrate on a liberal arts education.

 

Thanks to Ms. J’s motivation and encouragement I have now furthered my “life etiquette” skills and knowledge. Ms. J and Ms. Roxy have interacted with me not as bosses and supervisors, but rather as co-workers. They treat me with dignity and respect. They have showed me how to do a proper handshake, how to send a proper email, and even how to iron a shirt. Mr. Mitchell has helped me sharpen my skills in the proper way to tie a tie.
